Dear fellow NRNs,
Namaste!

I am thrilled to inform you that the Non-Resident Nepali Association National Coordination Council of USA (NRNA NCC of USA) is going to organize its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and National Knowledge Convention on July 3-5, 2020. All of the events will be held online using Zoom. As the convener of the events, it is my honor and privilege to invite and offer you a warm welcome to the event.

I believe that you are fully aware about the importance of AGM to grow our organization and enhance its impact on the members and all NRNs living in the USA. The upcoming AGM will be a very special event. We will be getting together online to share our activity report, ideas, and to make some important decisions in order to amend our organization’s bylaws. Your presence and active participation in the meeting is imperative in order to take our organization into the next level. I am confident that we will have the opportunity to welcome you online during the events.

The present unprecedented situation obliges all of us to re-examine and revise how we live, interact with each other, and conduct our businesses, including decisions on how we can proceed with the annual general meeting and conference. NRNA NCC of USA is extremely busy helping our Nepali fellows cope with the problems that have emerged due to the COVID-19; however, it is our responsibility to organize the pre-scheduled AGM on time through any means possible. It shows our resilience and readiness to accept any challenges and adopt the new realities of these times. This event exhibits NRNA NCC of the USA’s adaptability as well.

The convention will bring experts and professionals of Nepali and foreign origin to share the knowledge and data to benefit the Nepali living around the world. We are planning for different themes of the convention, such as Professional presentations, Town Halls, and conclude with a declaration of white paper.

We will share the meeting agenda, and the program details for the AGM and the National Knowledge Convention before the event date. If you have any questions about the AGM and the knowledge convention, please do not hesitate to contact me or the executive board. We would be happy to respond to your questions.
