Dear NRN Members and Well Wishers,
On the behalf of NRN National Coordinating Council Board of the USA, all the newly elected ICC members and as the new President, it is my great pleasure to thank you all for your support and encouragement. First of all, we would like to thank Mr. Rajendra Katiwada, Chair of the NRN NCC’s Election Commission 2011, for his excellent work in conducting the election of ICC members. He conducted the election as per the by-laws of the NRN ICC and NRN NCC without any partisanship. We heartily thank him and all the individual members of the team supporting him. I also sincerely thank the organizing committee members of First NRN NCC AGM and friends of New York, and Media friends, which did an outstanding job and support. All of the members deserve our praise and deep gratitude for the hard work that was done as volunteers. I am humbled and very privileged to be part of this team. I would like to congratulate all the newly elected ICC members, Mr. Bhuwani Gurung, Spokesperson of NRN NCC of USA, Aditya Maharjan, vice president of Federation of Nepalese Indigenous Peoples of Nepal in America (FIPNA) and Mr. Temba Sherpa Lama, Membership Committee chair of NRN NCC of USA, are veteran members with a long history of community service. The new ICC officers will be taking oath and over the responsibility during the 5th NRNA Global Conference in Kathmandu on October 14th, 2011 along with other 56 countries’ representatives as per the tradition and the bylaws of NRN ICC. I would like to request Dr. Ambika Adhikari, Regional Coordinator to certify them as a ICC representative nominees from the USA to the NRNA. Also, help us make this transition smooth helping NRN to move forward. I also seek the support and guidance of the past presidents, former officers, former Advisors and all general members to help this time so that we can bring NRN NCC of USA to new level, and put it to the service of the community in North America. My team and I will give our best to the betterment of NRN NCC of USA and for the welfare of the Nepali community in North America. Thank you. Pralhad KC President
