The goal of this program is to establish at least one e-library in all schools across Nepal. The government has allocated $3.4 million US dollars to the project. Each e-library costs $3,500, and each school will receive 70% of the necessary funding from the government and 30% from NRN individuals or Nepali organization in the United States. So far, ten public schools were selected to receive five computers and one laser printer each. A team of volunteers installed the necessary software and trained teachers and students regarding computer use. One problem the program faces is sustainability and care of the computers, so the program is seeking local ownership.
